New! Fashion Illustration - tuesday afternoons

grades 9 - 12 and up

All skill levels welcome. Supplies are provided. Studio 1.

July 9 – August 13 (6 sessions)

Have you always wanted to try your hand at fashion design? This class will explore an introduction to the croquis fashion figure, stylizing a cohesive fashion line, and ways to brand or market your designs. This is a great class to fine tune your drawing skills while coming up with your very own fashion designs.

THURSDAYS

New! printmaking + design - thursday mornings

Grades 9 - 12 and up

Beginners welcome. Supplies provided. Studio 1.

July 11 – August 15 (6 sessions)
9:30am - 12:30pm
$180

This class will explore block printing on fabric or large sheets of paper to create your own gift wrapping paper or finished fabric to sew with. We will explore basic print design techniques such as drop repeats, tossing and mirroring. You will create and design your project, with a functional finished product.

SATURDAYS

New! Jewelry Making - Saturday mornings

grades 9 - 12

All skill levels welcome. Supplies provided. Studio 4.

July 13 – August 17 (6 sessions)
10:00am - 12:00pm
$180

During this six week course students will be introduced to basic hand tools and jewelry making techniques. Students will learn how to create unique and trendy pieces using up-cycled, unconventional materials as well as a variety of metals and embellishments.

New! wheel throwing - Saturday mornings

grades 5 - 8

All skill levels welcome. Supplies provided. Studio 3.

July 13 – August 17 (6 sessions)
10:00am - 12:00pm
$180

This class is perfect for young artists who want to try out the potters wheel for the first time or have experience and want to refine their skills! This pottery course is designed to teach the techniques of wheel-throwing and glazing at a beginning level, with individual attention given to each student and projects assigned to match their progress. Students will gain an understanding of ceramics and evolve their wheel throwing skills with the guidance of an experienced instructor. Supplies are provided.
