ART INSTRUCTORS  

YOUNG ARTISTS  K-12 COURSES - AFTER SCHOOL & SATURDAYS

The Orange Art Center (OAC) is seeking qualified art instructors to teach young artists art classes in grades K-12 in the mediums of ceramics, painting, mixed media, photo, cartooning, and drawing. The qualified candidates will have young artist teaching experience with syllabus-driven curriculum, and art project development and are available for a progressive course lineup for fall, winter and spring, and summer/camp sessions. ARTIST-DESIGNED ART  CLASSES FOR ADULTS + YOUNG ARTISTS K-12

Have an art class that you would like to propose? Great! The OAC is accepting applications for artist instructor’s class proposals for adult and young artists K-12. For consideration, submit proposals that include; a course title/description, syllabus, class supply list, and availability. A background check and fingerprinting are required. WORKSHOPS 

One day. Two days. Weekly. Hourly. There are a variety of artist workshop formats and the OAC would love to hear about yours! The type of workshop can be made and taken, an intensive technique-based, specific art project, or an artist lecture. A background check and fingerprinting are required. Qualifications for Adult + Young Artist Art Instructors 

  • Knowledge of arts education and/or fine arts

  • Prior experience teaching art courses to adults and/or young artists

  • Ability to manage a classroom with students of various skill levels

  • Enthusiasm for teaching and sharing art experiences with students

  • Experience creating weekly lesson plans and syllabi
