YOUNG ARTIST FALL COURSES

All are welcomed! Located at Moreland Hills Elementary School. Grades K - 2.

New projects, more exploration! Young artists will join their Orange Art Center teacher after school to participate in art projects that focus on creative techniques including painting, collage, illustration, and craft. Students will develop independent art-making choices while enjoying group and individual instruction and encouragement. Grades K-2 on Monday - Tuesday and grades 3- 5 on Wednesdays! All supplies included. No class on November 25, November 26, and November 27.

Calling all preschoolers and guardians! It is time to explore your artistic side! In this class, children five and under will learn various techniques and work with various art materials, including acrylic paints, watercolors, pastels, collage elements, and more. Not only will your preschoolers have a blast, but they will also learn important motor and independent thinking skills! One parent/guardian per family attendance is required; participation is encouraged! All supplies are provided.

Think outside of the box with this fun, dynamic mixed media class with Mrs. Jackie! Young artists will learn various techniques and work with various art materials, including acrylic paints, watercolors, pastels, collage elements, and more. Grades K-2 in the morning and grades 3-5 in the afternoons! No class November 30. All supplies are provided.

You can be a comic illustrator, too! In this fun class, young artists will learn how to make a comic from script to finished story! Work on drawing characters and backgrounds while learning the illustrative process of penciling, inking, and coloring! In addition, the class will explore real legendary comic artists and explore the various styles of cartooning. All supplies provided.

Paper isn’t just for drawing; transform it into a fun sculptural piece of art! In this exciting class, young artists will explore creating 3D forms out of paper to make interesting sculptural forms such as keychains, bookmarks, canvas art, and more! Learn all about paper folding techniques and let your imaginations soar! All supplies are provided.

All skill levels welcomed! Brady Middle School. Grades 6 - 8.

Get more realistic in this educational teen drawing class! In this course, students will work piece by piece through drawing various parts of the human figure starting with an educational lesson on basic human anatomy.  From face to hands to full figure; teens will grow the confidence and skills they need to approach drawing in a more realistic style!  Previous drawing experience was encouraged.  All supplies provided. Located at Brady Middle School, All Purpose Room.
